Copenhagen Opens First Hydrogen Fueling Station
The City of Copenhagen, which will host a UN climate conference in December, has opened its first hydrogen fueling station.
It has also unveiled eight new hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles, comprising two work vehicles and six cars that will refuel at the hydrogen station.Later this year Copenhagen will also acquire 25 electric cars, bringing the total number of green vehicles to 33.
Alongside a fleet of fuel-cell and electric vehicles, it also aims to become the world's first carbon-neutral capital in 2025.

The project is being coordinated by Hydrogen Link, the Danish network for research, development and demonstration of hydrogen and fuel cell technologies, while a private partner, H2 Logic, has invested in the hydrogen filling station.
Neighboring Germany is also investing in the hydrogen fuel-cell technology. The Germans have indicated their goal is to build 1,000 hydrogen fueling stations by 2015.
