Ford Introduces New 2.0-Liter Mondeo ECOnetic
Ford of Europe has expanded its environmentally friendly range with the introduction of a 2.0-liter 115bhp Mondeo ECOnetic with the lowest CO2 figure for the range.
It comes in estate and five-door form, each with a CO2 figure of just 139g/km and costing from £20,795.The two-liter turbodiesel TDCi unit is mated to a six-speed transmission to achieve economy of 54mpg (45 mpg US), rising to 64mpg (53.3 mpg US) in highway cruising with a potential range of 800 miles.
Other emission-reducing ECOnetic features include low-rolling resistance tyres and an optimum gear change indicator, plus aerodynamics-enhancing sports suspension, air deflectors and a rear spoiler.

ESP with Traction Assist and Emergency Brake Assist complete a standard features list that ensures the Ford Mondeo ECOnetic is as poised as it is efficient and comfortable.
The new models will be offered alongside the existing five-door or estate 1.8-liter diesel, 125PS Mondeo ECOnetic models.
