Entry Level Vauxhall Ampera Earth Priced at £29,995

The Vauxhall Ampera has become a bit more affordable with the introduction of a new entry level model named 'Earth' that is available for order now at a starting price of £29,995 including Plug in Car Grant.

With standard features such as DAB, 7-inch touch screen display and Bluetooth, the Vauxhall Ampera Earth is generously equipped, and retains the groundbreaking powertrain and exterior design of higher spec variants. The Ampera Earth is available to order in four exterior colours and is offered with a black cloth trim.

Mid-trim Ampera Positiv (£32,250 including Plug in Car Grant) adds Front & Rear Park Assist with Rear View Camera, Front Heated Seats, Leather Steering Wheel and Leather Seats, while top level Ampera Electron (£33,995 including Plug in Car Grant) throws in a 7″ Colour Touch Screen, 30GB HDD, DVD-ROM and six speaker Bose sound system with sub-woofer.

The Vauxhall Ampera range is currently offered through a 24-strong dealer network with each retailer featuring four specialists, two in sales and two in aftersales. Offering a personalised level of customer care, each retailer has four specialists, two in sales and two in aftersales. Through Vauxhall’s partnership with British Gas customers also benefit from a free home assessment to ensure that their charging capability is maximised.

Strong regional coverage will enable 95 percent of Ampera owners to reach a specialist retailer within a one-hour drive. In addition retailers will also provide a free collection and delivery service for scheduled servicing, warranty and repair work.

Every Ampera owner also has access to ‘My Ampera Services’, a programme which provides owners with a direct number / email address to a named Ampera agent at Vauxhall HQ.  Completing the package, and like all Vauxhall cars, the Ampera is backed by a unique Lifetime/100,000 mile new vehicle warranty, while, the battery system has an impressive eight year/100,000 mile warranty, transferable to subsequent owners.
